The Most Important Thing You’ll Hear Today…

exercise motivation

Check out any fitness magazine, or most YouTube channels, or even billboards lining the highway on your way to work, and you will see nothing but chiseled, muscular, athletic physiques, proudly sporting a bright smile and a sharp set of abdominals, often times not wearing a shirt and rocking a six pack that could double as a cheese grater.

It can be easy to get psyched out when starting or working on a healthy routine, especially when you do not necessarily look like the cover models in the periodicals section of the supermarket. Often times our efforts to get as lean as the people we admire does not necessarily go our way and we are left feeling dejected and depressed.

Now, it is important to note that everyone should be working and living outside of their comfort zone in order to achieve the results that they are looking for. After all, if you want something you've never had, you have to do things you’ve never done. But do not ever lose sight of the REAL opportunity working out and trying to attempt a goal presents you with.

Fitness is all about getting better, little by little, day by day, and making improvements in your appearance, performance, and life. Sure, your eventual goal may be to get shredded like a covert document, but that does not mean you have to lose focus on the everyday things you are achieving.

Stop giving yourself a hard time for not being perfect and start congratulating yourself for the progress you are making on a day-to-day basis.

Did you lose two pounds this week? Good for you.

Did you make it to the gym every day? Nicely done.

Did you try something new and step outside of your comfort zone? Pat yourself on the back.

Life is not about physical perfection, it is about the constant journey towards improvement and development, and the ever-present opportunity to work hard, knuckle down, and work towards achieving a goal. Eat The Bear is not about the end destination, it is about the journey, and we are here to help you along the way. To help you get started ETB is offering free protein powder samples.
