Growing Sports Nutrition Brand Signs on Lifestyle Expert Noah Neiman to Serve as the first Elite Trainer to Represent Eat the Bear

CHARLOTTE (November 14, 2016) – Eat the Bear (ETB) a sports nutrition-based lifestyle business providing clean and lean supplements, today announced the creation of the addition of Noah Neiman, ETB’s First Elite Trainer. Noah was carefully selected; as his expertise will serve to educate and encourage people with the most in-depth, cutting-edge fitness and nutrition practices available.

Noah Neiman exploded onto the New York fitness scene in 2011, and has since become one of the city’s most popular trainers – recently launching his own boxing-fitness concept, Rumble Boxing. In addition to helping shape and instill confidence in many of today’s hottest celebrities, models, fashion designers, and athletes, Noah has shared his expertise with top media including Good Morning America, The New York Times, Nightline, The Wall Street Journal, Dr. Oz, Vanity Fair, E! News, Vogue and GQ.

"From everyday fitness and sports conditioning to balanced nutrition and proper supplementation, Eat The Bear’s first Elite Trainer, Noah Neiman, was brought on to inspire people on the importance of fitness while educating on the cleanest and leanest nutrition available,” said Jude Colangelo, Founder and CEO of Eat The Bear. "When selecting experts for this to represent Eat The Bear, authenticity was the deciding factor. We wanted someone who embodied the clean and lean lifestyle. Noah practices what he preaches, which makes him one of the brightest stars in the fitness field.”

Now in its sixth year, Eat The Bear was founded by Colangelo, who started the company as a passion project after being nudged by friends to market and sell the pure protein powder he had formulated for his individual tastes. Beginning with $24 thousand in sales in its first year, the company has since carved out a clean and lean niche for itself in the supplementation category, and is currently projected to reach $4 million in sales in 2016.

In addition to partnering with Noah Neiman, Eat The Bear works with top professional athletes including Rugby all-star Matt Hughston, and Pro Bowl Linebacker Luke Kuechly. Kuechly, who signed on as an Eat The Bear Athlete this past July, received an equity position and a seat on the board of directors as part of his deal.
