I eat the bear every day by serving as the only ice hockey coach at our local rink where I seek to inspire young girls to be fearless and bold. My doctor discovered that I had a tumor under my right arm when I was in fifth grade. I battled through the pain during my middle school years, and continued to skate despite my doctor's wishes. Now, I encourage young girls to pursue their unique passions. I am also a technology teacher so I work tirelessly to organize classes and clubs where girls can explore, tinker, and learn more about science, math, technology, and coding. Teaching people how to become the best versions of themselves is my greatest passion. Thanks for letting me share!
